C-SPAN is a private, non-profit company, created by the cable television industry as a public service. Our mission is to provide public access to the political process.
On, February 15, 2009, C-SPAN released the results of its second Historians Survey of Presidential Leadership, in which a cross-section of 65 presidential historians ranked the 42 former occupants of the White House on ten attributes of leadership. These attributes were different from our survey, but it may still be of interest to compare overall results.
